Job summary

Era Projects in Manama, Bahrain invites a Construction Planning Engineer to join the on-site team. This full-time role focuses on developing detailed project schedules and coordinating with project managers and site teams.

You will prepare baseline programs, monitor progress, identify risks, and provide regular progress reports for management and clients. GCC experience and Primavera P6 proficiency are required.

Local Bahrain availability and immediate joiner preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Construction Engineering or related field.
• 3–7 years planning engineering experience in construction.
• GCC experience mandatory; Bahrain/UAE/KSA preferred.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6; MS Project and Excel advantageous.
• Strong scheduling, progress measurement, and project controls.
• Local Bahrain availability; immediate joiner preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules with PMs and site teams.
• Prepare baseline programs, detailed work schedules, and execution plans.
• Monitor progress against schedules and identify delays or risks.
• Collect progress data from site teams and update schedules accordingly.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management and clients.
• Analyze planned vs actual progress and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Track milestones, critical activities, resources, and deliverables.
• Identify critical path and monitor activities impacting completion.
• Prepare recovery schedules and revised plans for delays.
• Assist in EOT and delay analysis documentation as needed.
• Monitor subcontractor schedules for alignment with the overall program.
• Review work sequences and coordinate with construction teams.
• Prepare progress tracking reports, S-curves, and look-ahead schedules.
• Maintain records of progress updates and planning docs.
• Attend progress meetings and provide schedule updates.
