Job summary

Beond is seeking a Nominated Postholder Continuing Airworthiness (CAMO) based in Manama to lead certification, launch and ongoing oversight of Bahrain operations. You will ensure continuing airworthiness, manage maintenance programmes and contracts, and supervise airworthiness records.

The role requires strong CAMO experience, Part-66 licence or equivalent, and ability to coordinate with BCAA and sub‑contracted CAMO/Part-145 interfaces. Appointment is subject to formal nomination by BCAA.

Qualifications

  • Relevant knowledge and background in continuing airworthiness per Bahrain ANTR and BCAA CAMO requirements.
  • Aircraft maintenance engineering licence Part-66 or equivalent.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of CAME and approved maintenance programmes.
  • Ability to liaise with BCAA and standing CAMO/Part-145 interfaces.

Job description

Nominated Postholder Continuing Airworthiness / CAMO

Beond is the world's first premium leisure airline, redefining leisure travel through a premium flying experience. As we continue to expand our regulatory and operational footprint, we are establishing a Bahrain Air Operator Certificate (AOC) under the Bahrain Civil Aviation Affairs (BCAA). We are seeking a Nominated Postholder Continuing Airworthiness (CAMO) to play a key role in the certification, launch and ongoing oversight of our Bahrain operation, based in Manama. The Nominated Postholder Continuing Airworthiness (CAMO) is appointed by, and reports to, the Accountable Manager, and is responsible for:

Ensure the continuing airworthiness of the aircraft managed and remain in compliance with the applicable Bahrain Air Navigation Technical Regulations (ANTR) and BCAA continuing-airworthiness requirements

Develop and control the Aircraft Maintenance Programme(s), including any reliability programme, and present them to BCAA for approval.

Ensure all applicable airworthiness directives and continued-airworthiness requirements are applied.

Establish and manage the required maintenance contracts, and ensure maintenance is carried out by an appropriately approved organisation and correctly released.

Manage scheduled maintenance, AD application, life-limited-part replacement and component inspections, and manage and archive continuing-airworthiness records and the technical log.

Ensure the Certificate of Airworthiness, Airworthiness Review Certificate and Noise Certificate of each aircraft remain valid, and manage airworthiness reviews where applicable.

Participate in developing the Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME) and submit it to Compliance Monitoring for review and approval, and implement the department Safety Management System (SMS) under the Safety Manager

This is a Nominated Postholder position under the applicable Bahrain Air Navigation Technical Regulations (ANTR), BCAA continuing-airworthiness and CAMO requirements, and associated BCAA guidance. Appointment is subject to formal nomination to and acceptance by BCAA

Desired Candidate Profile
  • Mandatory Relevant knowledge, background and experience in continuing airworthiness in accordance with the applicable Bahrain ANTR and BCAA CAMO requirements.
  • Aircraft maintenance engineering qualification Part-66 licence or equivalent aircraft maintenance engineering license or equivalent engineering qualification.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the CAME and the approved maintenance programme.
  • Must be acceptable to BCAA following formal assessment.
  • Experience standing up or transferring CAMO arrangements.
  • Experience managing sub-contracted CAMO / Part-145 interfaces.
