Job summary

FamilyFirst Qatar is seeking a Merchandiser Assistant to join our Muharraq team in Bahrain. You will support the Merchandiser in managing inventory, ensuring optimum stock, and coordinating with suppliers to maintain timely deliveries.

The role involves pricing, labeling, and displaying products per standards, with regular store visits to track stock, sales trends, and promotions. Visa sponsorship is available for this position.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in merchandising or a Merchandiser role.
• Knowledge of inventory management principles and techniques.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Merchandiser in managing inventory levels to ensure optimum stock availability.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Ensure that all products are accurately priced, labeled, and displayed according to company standards.
• Conduct regular store visits to monitor product display, stock levels, and sales trends.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to plan promotions and sales strategies.
• Assist in the development of merchandising plans for new product launches.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
• Maintain accurate records of all merchandise transactions, including purchases, returns, transfers, and adjustments.
• Assist in the preparation of reports on sales performance and inventory levels.
