Job summary

Hikma Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Medical Representative in Bahrain to promote our products to doctors and medical professionals. You will plan daily visits, deliver product information, and monitor market dynamics to support sales targets.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, 1–2 years of Bahrain experience, and strong communication skills in English. Knowledge of dermatology/neurology and CRM proficiency are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Pharmacy or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of related experience in Bahrain.
• Experience in dermatology and/or neurology.
• Experience in the governmental sector is preferred.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to influence others.
• Strong initiative and drive to achieve results.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a team.
• Proficiency in computer applications, including CRM systems.
• Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Planning and conducting daily visits to healthcare professionals to promote assigned products, share product information and convey company messages to achieve the monthly sales target.
• Assessing the needs of patients and doctors to effectively position the benefits of each brand.
• Applying effective selling skills and cost-benefit analysis to deliver each brand’s value proposition in line with marketing messages.
• Maintaining strong disease and product knowledge in the assigned therapy area.
• Conducting conferences and lectures on Hikma products while building effective professional contacts.
• Building trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen Hikma’s image.
• Monitoring and analyzing market data and conditions to identify competitive advantages.
• Reviewing sales performance and developing marketing plans to achieve objectives.
• Documenting all sales-related activities in a timely manner.
• Preparing the required reports, including business intelligence, market survey, competitor activity and event feedback reports.
• Collecting accurate and timely sales information and entering it into the CRM system daily for review by the Sales Supervisor.

Job Purpose:

Planning and conducting appointments with doctors and medical professionals to promote Hikma products and achieve the overall sales target, while monitoring competitor activities and threats. Following up on and reviewing the performance of Hikma products in the market through client feedback and other indicators.
