Job summary

Urban Ridge Supplies in Bahrain is seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Technician to lead daily maintenance of our property and buildings. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in building maintenance and a strong work ethic.

You will inspect for life safety issues, perform preventive maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and lighting, repair equipment, coordinate with contractors, and ensure clean, safe work areas.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in commercial or residential settings.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and time management.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Run daily maintenance operations of the property and buildings.
• Inspect property for life safety issues and take corrective action with line manager.
• Identify maintenance needs, prioritize work, and obtain manager approval.
• Work independently in the absence of supervision.
• Perform a full range of skilled building maintenance for extended periods.
• Repair and maintain mechanical equipment.
• Maintain a clean work area and assist contractors as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, paint, drywall, and related systems.
• Repair electrical switches, outlets, lighting, and fixtures.
• Carry out advanced plumbing work including fixtures, pipes, and water heaters.

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the maintenance field and a strong work ethic

Key Responsibilities

• Run the daily maintenance operations of the property and buildings
• Inspect property and buildings for life safety issues and take immediate corrective action and inform the line manager
• Identify building maintenance needs prioritize work and take corrective actions and take manager Approval
• Be a self starter and work independently in the absence of supervision
• Perform a full range of skilled building maintenance for extended periods of time
• Repair and maintain a variety of mechanical equipment
• Maintain a Clean work area
• Assists contractors for any requirements the company required
• Perform preventative maintenance on buildings including but not limited to skilled carpentry Electrical painting plastering dry walling plumbing heating limited air conditioning and basic Mechanical repair work door hardware keying exit and emergency lighting
• Repair electrical switches outlets lighting systems and fixtures
• Perform advance level plumbing work including the installation repair and replacement of Plumbing fixtures including sinks toilets faucets water heaters and pipes clear obstructions from Water and sewer lines
• Perform adequate level of carpentry work including the repair ofstairs handrails trim walls Windows siding doors and other work
• Inspect building facilities to identify building maintenance needs
• Preventive maintenance reports recommend prioritize and perform corrective maintenance required

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a commercial or residential setting
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
