Job summary

Urban Ridge Supplies is seeking a highly motivated Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience maintaining commercial or residential properties and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities include running daily maintenance operations, inspecting for life-safety issues, performing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs, and assisting contractors as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a maintenance role.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing electrical and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Run the daily maintenance operations of the property and buildings.
• Inspect property and buildings for life safety issues and take immediate corrective action and inform the line manager.
• Identify building maintenance needs prioritize work and take corrective actions and take manager Approval.
• Be a self starter and work independently in the absence of supervision.
• Perform a full range of skilled building maintenance for extended periods of time.
• Repair and maintain a variety of mechanical equipment.
• Maintain a Clean work area.
• Assists contractors for any requirements the company required.
• Perform preventive maintenance on buildings including but not limited to skilled carpentry Electrical painting plastering dry walling plumbing heating limited air conditioning and basic Mechanical repair work door hardware keying exit and emergency lighting.
• Repair electrical switches outlets lighting systems and fixtures.
• Perform advance level plumbing work including the installation repair and replacement of Plumbing fixtures including sinks toilets faucets water heaters and pipes clear obstructions from Water and sewer lines.
• Perform adequate level of carpentry work including the repair ofstairs handrails trim walls Windows siding doors and other work.
• Inspect building facilities to identify building maintenance needs.
• Preventive maintenance reports recommend prioritize and perform corrective maintenance required

• Basic knowledge of plumbing electrical and HVAC systems
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
• Valid driver s license and reliable transportation
