Transporte y Mecanización Agrícola LATAM is seeking an experienced Structural Engineering Lead / Building Inspection to oversee structural reviews, inspections, and condition assessments on construction projects. The role focuses on safety, integrity, and compliance with engineering standards and regulations.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, site experience, and leadership to identify risks, evaluate conditions, and guide remedial actions to ensure long-term building

Formación

• Strong knowledge of structural systems and design standards.
• Experience evaluating cracks, deformation, and material deterioration.
• Ability to review drawings, calculations, and specifications for issues.
• Proven report writing and technical recommendations.
• Leadership and coordination of multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with inspection methodologies and engineering software is advantageous.
• Professional engineering registration or relevant certifications are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead structural engineering reviews, technical assessments, and building inspections to ensure structural integrity and compliance with relevant standards.
• Review structural drawings, design calculations, construction specifications, and site conditions to identify potential engineering issues.
• Conduct inspections of existing buildings and ongoing construction works to identify structural defects and deficiencies.
• Evaluate cracks, deformation, material deterioration, and other structural concerns, recommending remedial measures.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and project teams to resolve technical issues and maintain quality.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, document findings, monitor rectification works, and provide technical recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, structural standards, quality requirements, and health and safety regulations.
