Job summary

GMG is seeking an Inventory & Replenishment Coordinator to manage purchasing, replenishment, and stock control for retail products. You will ensure inventory levels align with budget parameters and verify all deliveries against orders.

The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience in retail, with product knowledge and a strong focus on accuracy, process discipline, and health-and-safety standards within a storeroom environment.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of relevant experience with at least 1 year in a similar role.
• Product/category knowledge.
• Retail industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing and replenishment of retail products.
• Maintain stock levels within budgeted parameters.
• Receive deliveries and verify against purchase orders; complete related paperwork.
• Track stock movements and maintain logs to reconcile with transfer docs.
• Alert store manager when approaching or exceeding budget.
• Handle returns, credits, and management of damaged/out-of-date goods.
• Maintain storeroom layout and regulatory compliance; ensure health and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with store operations to prepare damaged stock lists for disposal.
• Conduct weekly cycle counts and assist annual physical inventory.
