Job summary

Capital School Bahrain is seeking a caring Learning Support Assistant to support students with diverse learning needs, promote inclusion, and collaborate with teachers to ensure access to meaningful learning in a safe, nurturing environment.

The role includes supporting pupils in class and other areas, assisting with individual education plans, preparing resources, and maintaining records with emphasis on English and Arabic language support and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of diverse learning needs and inclusive approaches.
• Ability to support pupils to access learning activities and develop independence.
• Experience in implementing learning support strategies under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with learning activities and safety.
• Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons.
• Prepare teaching resources and assist with progress records.
• Support behaviour management and pupil well-being.
• Engage with parents/carers as appropriate.
• Promote inclusion and positive relationships in school.
