Job summary

Capital School Bahrain – British Curriculum International School is seeking a caring, committed Teacher to join our Primary team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality lessons aligned to the English National Curriculum and supporting pupils' progress and wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS, have primary teaching experience, and possess strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum with a nurturing, child-centered approach and excellent teamwork and safeguarding commitment.

Qualifications

• QTS is required.
• Experience teaching in a Primary School.
• Strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum and age-related expectations.
• Nurturing, child-focused approach with high expectations for learning and behaviour.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills and safeguarding commitment.

Responsibilities

• Delivering high-quality teaching and learning across the Primary School.
• Planning engaging, well-sequenced lessons aligned to the English National Curriculum.
• Supporting pupils’ academic progress, personal development, and wellbeing.
• Using assessment effectively to inform teaching and next steps.
• Creating a positive, inclusive, well-managed classroom environment.
