The ideal candidate has 5+ years in integration design and middleware, with hands-on DataPower experience and a strong SOA background.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in integration design and middleware.
• Hands-on with IBM DataPower and security controls (OAuth, SSL/TLS).
• Strong SOA and enterprise integration understanding.
• Proficient in XML-related technologies (XML/XSD/WSDL/SOAP/REST).
• Experience with DataPower services (MPGW, Web Service Proxy, XML Firewall).
• Good knowledge of integration security concepts and certificate management.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced IBM DataPower Integration Designer with 5+ years of experience in enterprise integration and middleware technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, assessing technical feasibility, and designing secure, scalable, and high-performing integration solutions using IBM DataPower. The role requires strong collaboration with business, architecture, development, QA, and infrastructure teams throughout the solution delivery lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Attend business and technical meetings to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into integration solutions.
• Conduct technical feasibility assessments and recommend optimal integration approaches in alignment with the core architecture team.
• Prepare High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents according to defined standards.
• Design secure, scalable, and high-performing integration solutions using IBM DataPower.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Apply enterprise integration, SOA, and middleware best practices across integration designs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in integration design, middleware, or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience designing integration solutions using IBM DataPower.
• Strong understanding of SOA, enterprise integration, and middleware concepts.
• Strong knowledge of XML, XSD, WSDL, SOAP, REST APIs, and XSLT.
• Experience designing DataPower services including Multi-Protocol Gateway (MPGW), Web Service Proxy, and XML Firewall.
• Good understanding of integration security concepts including OAuth, SSL/TLS, AAA, and certificate management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Telecom domain experience is considered an advantage.
• Exposure to IBM API Connect or other API Management platforms is a plus.
