You will plan assignments, monitor quality via checklists, handle guest requests, and train staff. The ideal candidate has hospitality diploma, some supervisory experience, strong English, and good interpersonal skills in a fast-paced, multicultural hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Hospitality or similar vocational training is preferred.
• Minimum supervisory experience in a hotel housekeeping department.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Familiarity with Opera is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare housekeeping attendants' job assignments.
• Issue keys and supplies to staff.
• Record VIPs and special room statuses and act accordingly.
• Attend daily briefings and receive instructions.
• Check out rooms before marking them vacant.
• Handle special guest requests and fulfill them.
• Inspect rooms using checklists; ensure standards and report repairs.
• Document found items and hand to lost and found.
• Supervise cleaning of guest rooms, corridors and stairs.
• Train attendants and provide performance guidance to colleagues.
• Assist with inventory and proper handling of housekeeping equipment.
