Job summary

Accor is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead Room Attendants, Public Area Attendants and House Attendants, ensuring rooms and public areas meet the brand standards of cleanliness and presentation.

You will assign schedules, train staff, handle guest requests, and manage stock levels and inventories while maintaining safety and quality. The role supports a collaborative, guest-centric hospitality culture across Accor properties.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping leadership within a hotel environment.
• Strong knowledge of brand standards and quality control.
• Ability to train and coach staff and manage performance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of Room Attendants, House Attendants, and Public Area Attendants.
• Assign daily work schedules, room allocations, and special projects according to occupancy and operations.
• Ensure rooms, corridors, and public areas meet brand standards and cleanliness.
• Handle Lost & Found items following hotel procedures.
• Monitor Do Not Disturb (DND) room follow-ups.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, concerns, and complaints.
• Lead and coach the housekeeping team to meet departmental goals; participate in evaluations.
• Control usage of cleaning supplies, amenities, linen, uniforms, and equipment.
• Assist with monthly inventories of linen and supplies; monitor stock levels and report shortages.
• Ensure equipment safety and proper usage; complete daily inspection and shift handover reports.

Job Description

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Room Attendants, House Attendants, Public Area Attendants
• Assign daily work schedules, room allocations, and special projects according to occupancy levels and operational requirements.
• Ensure all guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and service areas are cleaned and maintained according to brand standards.
• Ensure proper handling and reporting of Lost & Found items according to hotel procedures.
• Monitor DND (Do Not Disturb) rooms and ensure appropriate follow-up procedures are followed.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, concerns, and complaints
• Lead, motivate, coach, and support the housekeeping team to achieve departmental objectives. Assist with performance evaluations and development plans
• Control and monitor the usage of cleaning supplies, guest amenities, linen, uniforms, and equipment.
• Assist with monthly inventories of linen, guest supplies, and housekeeping materials
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages promptly
• Ensure housekeeping equipment is maintained and used safely and correctly
• Complete daily inspection reports, discrepancy reports, and shift handovers

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of housekeeping operations and hotel standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle guest complaints professionally.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Inventory and stock management skills.
• Proficiency in hotel systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage
