Job summary

Keyrock is seeking a Head of Engineering / Engineering Lead with strong experience in systematic options trading to lead our Options Engineering team. You will drive continuous improvement across trading infrastructure, automated quoting, execution, risk controls, pricing workflows and production reliability.

We prefer candidates in European time zones or US East Coast time, and offer a competitive salary with remote work flexibility.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in systematic trading, options market-making or low-latency trading systems.
• Hands-on experience with Rust, C++, or C and willingness to master Rust.
• Strong knowledge of algorithmic options trading, quoting, execution, pricing and risk controls.
• Experience with low-latency trading systems and production-grade validation.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, microservices, and production reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Options Engineering team (≈7 engineers).
• Provide technical direction across trading infra, system design, and reliability.
• Own and evolve a Rust-native systematic options trading platform.
• Collaborate with traders, quants, product, risk and infrastructure teams.
• Balance delivery ownership with leadership and operational discipline.
