Job summary

Keyrock is a global crypto market maker seeking a Senior Rust Engineer with deep trading systems experience and strong AWS knowledge to join the Capital Markets division. You will design, build, and operate low-latency trading infrastructure, collaborating with quants and traders to improve performance and reliability.

The role offers remote, international collaboration within a profitable, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Rust production-grade experience building high-performance, concurrent systems.
Experience in systematic trading environments (HFT, Market Making, Quantitative Trading).
Strong AWS and Linux expertise for latency-sensitive workloads.
Familiarity with trading protocols (FIX, REST, WebSocket) and market data feeds.
Ability to design scalable architectures and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimise low-latency, mission-critical trading systems
Own key trading stack components end-to-end — from architecture through to production operation
Collaborate closely with quants, traders, and engineers to deliver solutions that improve trading performance and resilience
Maintain and evolve trading infrastructure with a focus on performance, stability, observability, and operational excellence
Troubleshoot complex production issues across exchange connectivity, execution, and market data handling
Drive engineering standards through technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring
Embrace agentic engineering: AI-assisted workflows, automation of operational tasks, and agentic tooling
Contribute to functional, component, and production-readiness testing for critical trading components
