Job summary

Tanqeeb is hiring a Head Chef for a Bahrain Mediterranean Fine Dining restaurant. The role requires GCC residency, proven Head Chef experience in a Mediterranean fine dining setting, and strong leadership to mentor a kitchen brigade.

Fluency in English plus another European language or Afrikaans is mandatory. The successful candidate will drive culinary standards, manage food costing, inventory, and HACCP compliance while maintaining high quality, presentation, and consistency in a fast-paced

• Currently based in the GCC
• Proven Head Chef experience in an independent Mediterranean fine dining restaurant
• Strong background in Mediterranean cuisine
• Strong leadership to motivate, mentor and develop a kitchen brigade
• Exceptional culinary standards with attention to quality, flavour, presentation and consistency
• Knowledge of food costing, menu engineering, purchasing, stock and waste control
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards
• Able to stay calm, organised and effective in a busy, high-volume kitchen
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English plus one additional European language or Afrikaans mandatory
