Job summary

Dar Kulaib's premier dining venue is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead a dynamic kitchen team. You will design menus, supervise prep and plating, and ensure exceptional quality and consistency across all dishes.

You will mentor staff, manage inventory and costs, uphold safety standards, and collaborate with management on seasonal concepts to delight guests with bold local flavors.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, flavors, ingredients, and plating.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent time management for multiple tasks.
• Creativity with new dishes while respecting traditional favorites.
• English proficiency; Arabic preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative menus showcasing local ingredients and flavors.
• Oversee preparation and presentation of all dishes for quality and consistency.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety.
• Manage inventory and control food costs to meet budget goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times.
• Collaborate with management to create seasonal menus or promotions.
