Job summary

Avanta Works is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support an elderly client in Isa Town, Bahrain. The role involves daily living assistance, monitoring health and medication, and offering emotional support to the client in a home setting.

You will work full-time under a family-directed care plan, ensure safety, document care provided, and accompany the client to appointments as needed. Accommodation is provided.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a caregiver for elderly individuals.
• Ability to follow care plans and work independently.
• Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency response.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Compassionate nature and patience.
• Physical stamina for lifting or transferring clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Prepare meals according to dietary restrictions and assist with feeding if needed.
• Administer medication as prescribed by a doctor.
• Monitor health status and report changes to family or medical professionals.
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and tidying up.
• Accompany client to appointments or outings as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided.
