Job summary

Work standard is seeking a compassionate and experienced Caregiver to provide quality care for elderly individuals in Muharraq, Bahrain. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$.

You will assist with daily tasks, provide companionship, and ensure the overall well-being of our elderly clients, including bathing, meals, mobility, and monitoring changes in health. A valid work permit and willingness to train are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role.
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR.
• Empathy and patience towards elderly individuals.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Must have a valid work permit or be eligible to obtain one in Bahrain.
• Willingness to undergo any necessary training or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Administering medication according to prescribed schedules.
• Preparing meals and ensuring proper nutrition for the client.
• Assisting with mobility and transfers.
• Providing companionship and engaging in meaningful activities.
• Monitoring and reporting any changes in the client's condition to the family or healthcare professionals.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for the client.
