Job summary

Gender is seeking an IT Quality Assurance Specialist to lead testing of mobile wallet apps (iOS/Android), web portals, and kiosks. You will design comprehensive test strategies, perform functional and security testing, and utilize AI tools to accelerate cycles while ensuring test thoroughness.

The role requires 2–4 years in mobile application testing, ISTQB certification, and experience with automation tools and CI/CD.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
ISTQB or similar QA certification.
Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
Knowledge of accessibility testing standards (WCAG).
Experience testing in Agile/Scrum environments.
Previous experience in startups or fast-paced product companies.
2-4 years of experience in mobile application testing (iOS and Android).
Strong understanding of mobile app development lifecycle and release processes.
Hands-on experience testing native mobile applications and hybrid apps.
Knowledge of mobile-specific testing challenges including device fragmentation, network conditions, and OS compatibility.

Responsibilities

Test mobile wallet apps on iOS and Android across devices and OS versions.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for new features.
Test critical payment flows including card transactions and wallet top-ups.
Validate UI/UX, navigation, and visual design consistency.
Conduct security testing to identify vulnerabilities in payment processes.
Collaborate with developers to verify fixes and conduct retesting.
Create and maintain test plans, cases, and test data.
Integrate automated scripts into CI/CD pipelines.
