Job summary

BrightMark GmbH in Dar Kulaib, Bahrain seeks a skilled Head Chef to lead our fine dining kitchen. You will oversee menu creation, food prep, staff training and inventory management while upholding the highest standards of quality and presentation.

We require at least 5 years in a head/executive chef role, a track record of creative menu design, strong leadership, and a passion for fresh, local ingredients. Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as Head Chef or Executive Chef in fine dining.
• Proven track record designing creative menus with quality ingredients.
• Strong leadership to train, motivate and manage kitchen staff.
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
• Excellent communication to collaborate with team.
• Up-to-date understanding of food safety regulations.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design menus reflecting our high-end dining experience.
• Create innovative and visually appealing dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
• Train and manage kitchen staff, including hiring, scheduling, and evaluations.
• Ensure food quality and presentation meet our standards at all times.
• Oversee inventory management, ordering supplies, and cost control.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen in compliance with health codes.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to provide exceptional guest experiences.
• Stay current with industry trends and adapt menu offerings accordingly.
