Job summary

SmartAgro in Muharraq is seeking an Executive Chef to lead all kitchen operations, oversee menu planning, food preparation, and staff management, and uphold the restaurant's exceptional standards.

Ideal candidates will have proven executive experience in fine dining, strong leadership and organizational skills, knowledge of Bahraini cuisine is a plus, and a willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment.
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Ability to create unique dishes while also adhering to traditional recipes.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement menus reflecting the restaurant concept and target clientele.
• Oversee food preparation and ensure high quality and presentation standards.
• Manage food costs and inventory to maintain profitability.
• Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring sanitation and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with management on special events or promotions.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times.
