Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; land surveying training preferred.
• Experience as a Surveyor Assistant is a plus but not required.
• Proficiency with surveying tools and data-analysis software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Physically fit for field work in varying weather conditions and terrains.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist surveyors in field surveys, including setting up equipment.
• Use surveying tools (total stations, GPS, levels) to collect data.
• Input collected data into software for analysis and mapping.
• Prepare reports and maps based on survey data for clients.
• Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment regularly.
• Ensure safety measures are followed during surveys.
• Communicate effectively with team members to complete projects.
