Job summary

BlueDynamics in Isa Town, Bahrain seeks a Surveyor Assistant to support field surveys and data collection. You will set up equipment, operate total stations, GPS receivers, and levels to gather data for analysis and mapping, then prepare reports and maps for clients.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, some surveying training, and strong attention to detail. Safety, teamwork, and clear communication are essential for success in varied weather and terrains.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; land surveying training preferred.
• Experience as a Surveyor Assistant is a plus but not required.
• Proficiency with surveying tools and data-analysis software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Physically fit for field work in varying weather conditions and terrains.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work independently or in a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist surveyors in conducting field surveys including setting up equipment and taking measurements
• Use surveying tools and equipment to collect accurate data such as total stations GPS receivers and levels
• Input collected data into computer software for analysis and mapping
• Help prepare reports and maps based on survey data for clients
• Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment regularly
• Ensure proper safety measures are followed while conducting surveys
• Communicate effectively with team members to complete projects efficiently

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent additional education or training in land surveying is preferred
• Prior experience as a Surveyor Assistant is a plus but not required
• Proficiency in using surveying tools and equipment as well as computer software for data analysis
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
• Physically fit to perform field work in various weather conditions and terrains
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary

This is a full-time position with a salary of 1000$ per month
