Job summary
A leading solar energy company in Bahrain is seeking a skilled Solar O&M Technician to join their Operations & Maintenance team. The technician will be responsible for the daily operation, inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The ideal candidate must have a diploma in Electrical Engineering and 2–3 years of experience in solar PV systems. This role requires strong understanding of electrical systems and safety practices, with opportunities for professional growth in a sustainable energy environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in solar PV system operation and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of DC and AC electrical systems, inverters, and protection devices.
- Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams and electrical schematics.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on PV systems.
- Conduct corrective maintenance to address system faults.
- Troubleshoot electrical components of PV systems.
