Job summary

SABIS maintains and operates The International School of Choueifat, Manama, ensuringMaintenance and safety of buildings, grounds, and facilities across the campus. The role focuses on planning, organizing, and supervising maintenance, repairs, and site alterations to meet SABIS standards and regulatory deadlines.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of maintenance experience, fluency in English and Arabic, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintenance experience is a plus.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• 3–5 years of field experience.
• Maintenance of equipment and tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervising maintenance, security and program implementation for school buildings and grounds.
• Inspecting new construction, repairs, grounds, and equipment for efficiency and compliance.
• Researching new products and recommending purchases.
• Responding to maintenance inquiries and coordinating with relevant personnel.
• Planning preventive maintenance to avoid defects and downtime.
• Ensuring school grounds are well-kept and safe.
• Coordinating safety drills and emergency response readiness.
• Providing quotations for outsourced maintenance and new jobs.
• Carrying out other related tasks as delegated by Management.
