Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in law from an internationally recognized university.
• Specialized knowledge in Bahrain Labor Law and disciplinary procedures.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in legal practice, Labor Law, Labor Disputes, policies, disciplinary procedures, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Committees to carry out investigations and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
• Draft investigation committee’s letters, minutes, opinions, recommendations and reports in Arabic and English.
• Deal with management to resolve matters amicably and pursue corrective actions rather than punitive measures.
• Provide consultations and solutions for employees to resolve conflicts amicably.
• Assist departments with disciplinary procedures and respond to queries from Managers on employee and disciplinary matters.
• Investigate violations in line with station laws and in coordination with Legal Affairs, travel may be required.
• Render legal advice and opinions on FORB and employee relations matters ensuring compliance with Labor law and Company policies.
• Draft correspondences to the Ministry of Labor regarding employee relations matters.
• Review penality schedules to ensure conformity with Labor Law and Company rules and regulations.
• Negotiate with unions and concerned parties in the best interests of the Company.
• Prepare files and Employee Relations statistics, maintaining confidentiality and accurate records.
