Job summary

leading-edge is seeking a Diagnostic Technician in Bahrain to diagnose and repair vehicle systems, perform preventive maintenance, and maintain accurate service records. The role requires self-motivation, rapid execution, and attention to detail in a high-volume shop.

Ideal candidates have a vocational automotive degree, 3+ years of related experience, and certifications in engine, suspension, and electrical systems. English/Arabic skills preferred; accommodation provided.

Qualifications

• Education: Vocational/Technical degree in Automotive Services.
• Experience: 3+ years in training or technician roles.
• Certifications: Suspension, Steering, Brakes, Engine Repair, Electrical/Electronic Systems.
• Preferred training: Auto Electricity, Scanner/On-Board Diagnostics II, Lab Scope Diagnostics.
• Language: English and Arabic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair with accurate diagnosis and timely completion.
• Diagnostic work across engine, transmission, brakes, electrical systems.
• Preventive maintenance and fluid changes.
• Record keeping of maintenance and service history.
• Troubleshoot issues and identify repair causes.
• Complete paperwork, order parts, and bill for services.
• Quality control through final tests.
• Cross-functional support with Repair and Maintenance Technicians.
• Ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Adapt to customer service needs and business requirements.
