Job summary

AX Coin (a member of AXG) seeks an experienced Deputy CEO to join the executive leadership team in Bahrain. You will work with the CEO to define strategy, manage day-to-day operations, and build a robust compliance and operational framework to support rapid expansion in the local market.

You will lead the local organization, manage regulatory and banking partnerships, and drive governance, risk management, and strategic initiatives across the business.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of senior management or executive leadership experience in Fintech, Virtual Assets (Crypto/Web3), Banking, or Financial Services.
• Deep understanding of regional financial regulation and a proven track record of engaging with financial regulators.
• Strong network and background in corporate banking, payment infrastructure, or financial institutional partnerships.
• Sound knowledge of AML, CFT, and corporate governance frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the local cross-functional teams to foster a high-performance culture.
• Oversee regulatory engagement, licensing, and relationships with authorities and regulators.
• Strategize and manage banking partnerships, fiat-to-crypto gateways, and custody solutions.
• Oversee administrative operations, governance, and vendor agreements.
• Establish and maintain risk management and compliance systems for virtual assets.
