Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay in Manama is seeking a Station Chef to run the day-to-day kitchen operations. You will assist the Chef de Cuisine in creating and preparing menu items and specials, and ensure mise en place and station setup meets the highest standards.

You will work with standard recipes and plating to maintain quality, while maintaining a safe, clean work area and collaborating with chefs to manage shortages and daily requisitions.

• Run the day-to-day operation of the station.
• Assist in supporting the Chef de Cuisine in creating and preparing menus items and specials.
• Check and complete mise en place and set-up the station.
• Complete daily requisitions utilizing available systems.
• Communicate with the Chef de Partie, Sous Chefs regarding menu items, situations or shortages.
• Work closely with standard recipes and plate presentations to maintain quality in production and presentation.
• Maintain a good working relationship with other staff, providing instruction and encouragement as needed.
• Ensure a clean, neat and organized work area.
• Maintain a safe working environment and report any accident immediately.
