Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an Amazon Critical Infrastructure Engineer to provide full life-cycle support to AWS Data Centers, from design inception through site improvement and maintenance. You will serve as the go-to engineering resource for your region, driving complex projects and collaborating with operations, design, and construction teams.

You will lead RCA and CA documentation for failures, mentor field teams, and own conceptual designs for upgrades that improve capacity,

Qualifications

Experience with design, construction, operation, or maintenance of mission critical facilities, especially data centers.
5 year experience in HVAC Industry or in data center mechanical engineering
Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering
Bachelor Degree or equal in mechanical engineer.
Knowledge of building codes and regulations for your region
Knowledge of commercial or industrial power systems or mechanical systems
Experience using a variety of web-based and other software tools for calculation and data processing
Experience in electrical system

Responsibilities

Lead projects to fit out data centers to meet evolving customer needs.
Provide technical advice and mentorship to field teams.
Develop design-solutions to add capacity, improve availability, and increase efficiency.
Interface with operations, design, construction, and product teams to promote standards.
