Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid crane operator certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Physically fit with ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
• Basic understanding of mechanical operations.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate crane controls to lift and move heavy materials according to instructions.
• Check crane mechanisms and equipment before and after use for malfunctions or defects.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members via radio or hand signals.
• Follow all safety regulations and guidelines while operating the crane.
• Keep accurate records of materials moved and hours worked.
• Perform routine maintenance on cranes as needed.
