AlphaConnect in Manama, Bahrain, is seeking a skilled Crane Operator to operate and maintain cranes on construction sites. You will inspect equipment, follow safety protocols, coordinate with the project team, and keep records of operations.

This outdoor role requires a valid crane operator certification and at least 2 years of experience, with duties including lifting and moving materials, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of crane operation experience.
• Valid Crane Operator Certification.
• Knowledge of different crane types and capabilities.
• Familiarity with crane safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination and stamina.

Responsibilities

• Operate tower, crawler, and mobile cranes on construction sites.
• Inspect equipment before use and report any issues.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times.
• Coordinate crane operations with the project manager and team.
• Use hand signals or radio to communicate with ground crew.
• Lift, move, and position materials using crane attachments.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure proper crane function.
• Keep daily records of crane operations and materials lifted.
• Report malfunctions or hazards immediately to the project manager.

Job description

We are hiring a skilled Crane Operator to join our team in Manama Bahrain

As a Crane Operator you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes to lift and move materials equipment and machinery on construction sites You will work closely with the project manager and other team members to ensure safe and efficient crane operations

Responsibilities

• Operate different types of cranes such as tower cranes crawler cranes and mobile cranes
• Inspect equipment before use to ensure it is in good working condition
• Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times
• Coordinate with project manager and other team members on crane operation plans
• Communicate effectively with ground crew through hand signals or radio communication
• Lift move and position materials or equipment using the cranes hoisting attachments
• Perform routine maintenance on the crane to ensure its proper functioning
• Keep daily records of crane operations including time spent on job site materials lifted etc
• Report any malfunctions or safety hazards to the project manager immediately

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Crane Operator
• Valid Crane Operator Certification from a recognized institution
• Knowledge of different types of cranes and their capabilities
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures for crane operation
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Salary

The salary for this position is 1500$ per month
