Job summary

Employment is seeking a System Administrator and Automation Specialist to manage Control-M driven job workflows across Unix, Linux, Windows, and Solaris environments. The role focuses on installation, configuration, and upgrades of Control-M components, with a strong emphasis on automation and process resiliency.

The candidate will work to document procedures, develop scripts for job automation, and ensure 24/7 availability of critical banking applications.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
2-5 years IT operations experience with Unix/Linux and Windows system administration.
Solid experience as a Control-M scheduler in a distributed Windows/Linux/Solaris/AIX environment.
Knowledge of Crystal Report and other reporting tools for end-of-day banking operations.
Experience in financial services, banking, or other 24/7 regulated environments.

Responsibilities

Manage IT operations jobs like End of Days, Start of Days, and file transfers via Control-M.
Install, configure, deploy, and upgrade Control-M software components.
Automate operations and improve workflows using scripting across platforms.
Ensure high availability of Control-M components and resiliency of processes.
Document procedures and maintain up-to-date runbooks for all tasks.
