Hire Fellows is seeking a Commis 1 Baker/Decorator to join its production team in Bahrain. You will perform hands-on baking, assist with cake decoration, and ensure orders meet quality, presentation, and freshness standards.

This cross-trained role supports baking lines, decorating tasks, and collaboration with the senior decorators and wider production team. The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of baking or pastry experience, attention to detail, and a commitment to food safety.

Formación

• 2–4 years in baking, pastry, or similar production.
• Hands-on baking experience (mixing, portioning, baking).
• Basic cake decoration skills (piping, finishing).
• Able to move between decorating and baking tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Team player with good communication.
• Commitment to food safety, hygiene and sanitation.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out baking-line activities including mixing, portioning, baking.
• Assist with basic cake decoration, including piping.
• Support senior decorators with cake orders when required.
• Follow standard recipes, decorating guidelines, and production processes consistently.
• Move between decorating and baking sections based on production volume and operational requirements.
• Ensure products are completed accurately and to the required quality and presentation standards.
• Maintain consistent baking and decorating techniques across different orders.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety standards at all times.
• Monitor ingredients and materials and flag shortages or production issues to the relevant section lead.
• Work collaboratively with the wider production team to ensure orders are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient working environment.

You will play a hands‑on role in supporting baking operations, while also assisting with basic cake decoration and finishing, ensuring every order is produced to a consistent standard of quality, presentation, and freshness.

In this role, you will be part of the production operation responsible for preparing and baking products, while ensuring every product meets quality, consistency, and food safety standards. This is a cross‑trained position, where you will primarily support baking activities while also assisting with cake decoration and finishing based on production needs.

Requirements
