Job summary

The International School of Choueifat, Doha is seeking a qualified teacher to implement the SABIS curriculum and philosophy, ensuring students’ academic success and engagement through consistent pedagogical methods.

You will use provided lesson plans, mark exams, support underperforming students, proctor tests, and participate in student life activities, with a focus on discipline, organization, and teamwork in a dynamic school community.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field.
English proficiency demonstrated.
Minimum 1 year of teaching experience.

Responsibilities

Teaching classes using provided lesson plans and develop plans as needed.
Marking exams according to schedule and material provided by department.
Discussing academic concerns with the Academic Quality Controller and Head of Department.
Implementing the SABIS Point System to maintain a conducive learning environment.
Proctoring exams to ensure proper test conditions.
Providing guidance to academically low-performing students to help them improve.
Following up on external exams preparation as per revision schedule.
Assisting with additional duties including substitutes, lunches, buses, and admin tasks.
Participating in student life activities with the Student Life Coordinator.
Attending training sessions to enhance understanding of SABIS system.
Performing other related tasks as delegated by school management.
