Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a General Manager – Operations to provide executive leadership across manufacturing and operations, driving productivity, quality, safety, and profitability. The role oversees multiple functions and leads continuous improvement initiatives in a large-scale facility.

The candidate will have extensive experience in continuous manufacturing, transformational change, and building high-performing teams while aligning with strategic objectives and long-term growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• MBA or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Minimum 20 years of progressive manufacturing experience.
• At least 10 years in a senior executive leadership role.
• Experience in large-scale manufacturing or heavy industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement overall operational strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Provide executive leadership across all manufacturing and operational functions.
• Establish annual operational objectives and monitor performance.
• Drive a culture of operational excellence, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Lead organizational transformation to improve competitiveness and growth.
• Build and maintain a high-performing leadership team.
• Represent the company with customers, suppliers, and authorities.
• Oversee supply chain, planning, quality, health & safety, and facilities as needed.
