As a Cashier, your main responsibilities will include processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area, and providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
• Scan items and process payments using cash registers
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and reconcile cash drawer at the end of each shift
• Ensure that all prices and products are accurately labeled
• Keep checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies
• Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
• Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, refunds, exchanges, etc.
• Upsell products and services to customers as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred but not required
