Job summary

PremierQ in Manama is seeking a full-time BIM Technician to develop, update and manage Building Information Models for sports and recreational projects on site. You will coordinate architectural, structural and MEP elements, prepare construction drawings and resolve clashes with engineers and site teams.

Qualifications

Role Description This full-time BIM Technician role is an on-site position based in Manama. The BIM Technician will develop, update, and manage Building Information Models for sports and recreational projects, ensuring accurate representation of architectural, structural, and building services elements. Responsibilities include preparing and coordinating construction drawings, integrating MEP and structural information into BIM models, and maintaining model standards in line with project requirements. The role involves collaborating closely with engineers, project managers, and site teams to resolve design clashes, support coordination meetings, and provide accurate documentation for construction and installation. The BIM Technician will also assist in generating quantities, schedules, and reports from the models to support planning, procurement, and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows, with experience managing multi-disciplinary project models.
• Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and Building Services, with the ability to integrate and coordinate these disciplines within BIM models.
• Ability to read, interpret, and produce detailed Construction Drawings, ensuring accuracy and consistency across project documentation.
• Understanding of Structural Engineering fundamentals and their application within BIM models and construction documentation.
• Relevant technical diploma or degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field; professional certifications in BIM are an advantage.
• Experience with industry-standard software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD or similar) and familiarity with clash detection and coordination processes.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary project teams.
