Job summary

PeakFleet in Muharraq, Bahrain is hiring a skilled Baker to join our team. You will prepare a variety of baked goods including bread, pastries, cakes and cookies while working with a team under the Head Baker.

The role requires proven baking experience, knowledge of techniques, and the ability to follow recipes accurately. Flexibility for early mornings, weekends and holidays is essential; preference given to female candidates. Accommodation provided.

Qualifications

• Proven baker or pastry chef experience is required.
• Knowledge of baking techniques and methods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies according to recipes.
• Decorate pastries and desserts with icing, glazes, toppings or fillings.
• Maintain quality by inspecting ingredients for freshness.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Collaborate to create new recipes and items.
• Keep area clean and organized.
• Follow schedules to meet customer demands.
• Assist in training new bakers.
