Job summary

GlobalProcure in Manama, Bahrain is seeking a passionate Baker Assistant to support the head baker in preparing and baking a variety of baked goods. You will measure ingredients, mix doughs, and help bake breads, pastries, and cakes to ensure consistent quality.

The role requires basic baking knowledge, ability to follow recipes accurately, and physical stamina to handle long shifts. Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous baker assistant experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of baking techniques, measurements and ingredients is a plus.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

We are in need of a passionate and dedicated Baker Assistant to join our bakery team in Manama Bahrain As a Baker Assistant you will be responsible for assisting the head baker in preparing and baking a variety of delicious baked goods

• Mixing and kneading doughs by hand or using a mixer
• Baking breads pastries cakes and other baked goods
• Decorating and finishing baked goods with fillings icings and toppings
• Cleaning and maintaining work stations ovens and equipment
• Ensuring quality control standards are met for all products
• Following food safety regulations and guidelines
• Assisting with inventory management and ordering supplies when needed

Requirements

Salary

This position offers a salary of $1400 per month
