The successful candidate will perform diagnostics, routine servicing, and component repairs, maintain thorough records, and uphold strict health and safety standards in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as an Automotive Technician or in a similar role.
• A relevant vocational qualification or certification in automotive technology or mechanics.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical, engine, and transmission systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostic tests on vehicle systems to identify faults.
• Conduct routine servicing: oil changes, filter replacements, and tyre rotations.
• Repair or replace defective parts including brakes, engines, steering, suspension, and electrical components.
• Utilise diagnostic equipment to ensure accurate fault finding and resolution.
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed on each vehicle.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and workshop procedures.
• Ensure work is completed to a high standard within the allocated time.
