Job summary

Pauwels Consulting is seeking a Workplace Engineer for a public-sector client to build a secure, modern digital environment for thousands of users. The role concentrates on endpoint management, automation and cybersecurity across laptops and mobile devices.

Responsibilities include configuring Intune and 365 services, scripting automation, deploying software, and administering Windows, iOS, and Android devices while enhancing Defender-based security and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a system administrator focusing on infrastructure and workplace management.
• 3+ years on Microsoft Intune and Microsoft 365 administration.
• 3+ years PowerShell scripting and automation.
• 3+ years Endpoint Management across Windows, iOS and Android.
• 1+ years with Microsoft Entra ID and Defender for Endpoint.
• 1+ years Windows Security Baselines, hardening and compliance policies.
• 1+ years applying ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change).
• Experience with Unix/Linux/Windows environments.
• Proactive, analytical with strong problem-solving skills.
• Dutch Fluent at C2 level.

Responsibilities

• Manage and configure Microsoft Intune and Microsoft 365 workplace services.
• Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell and scripting techniques.
• Oversee software deployments, packaging, and lifecycle management.
• Administer Windows, iOS, and Android devices in a large enterprise.
• Strengthen endpoint security with Defender, Conditional Access and compliance policies.
• Collaborate with architects and security specialists on infra projects from analysis to implementation.
