Select Tech in Belgium is seeking an experienced Workday Time & Absence Implementation Consultant to join a major Workday implementation project. You will own the Time & Absence workstream, collaborating with HR and Workday teams to design, configure and deliver a solution from requirements through go-live.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Time Tracking and Absence in complex or global environments, with excellent stakeholder management and a track record delivering

Qualifications

• Must hold Workday Time Tracking and Absence certifications.
• Hands-on experience configuring and implementing Time Tracking and Absence.
• Proven track record delivering end-to-end Workday implementations in complex or global environments.
• Strong understanding of Time Tracking, Absence, Payroll and Core HCM integration.
• Experience gathering requirements, workshops, testing, UAT, data validation and deployment.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Time Tracking and Absence workstream through the full implementation lifecycle.
• Collaborate with HR and Workday teams to design, configure and validate solutions.
• Manage workshops, requirements sessions and solution discussions with stakeholders.
• Ensure seamless integration across Time, Absence, Payroll and Core HCM.
• Provide guidance on best practices and document functional specifications.
• Support go-live transition and post-go-live activities.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Workday Time & Absence Implementation Consultant to join a major Workday implementation project.

The successful candidate will have strong hands‑on experience across Workday Time Tracking and Absence, with a proven background delivering implementations within complex and ideally global environments.

You will take ownership of the Time & Absence workstream, working closely with business stakeholders and wider Workday teams to design, configure and deliver an effective solution from requirements through to go-live.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Workday Time Tracking and Absence workstream throughout the implementation lifecycle.


• Gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions.


• Design, configure and test Workday Time Tracking and Absence functionality.


• Lead and support client workshops, requirements sessions and solution discussions.


• Work closely with HR, Payroll and wider Workday teams to ensure seamless integration across Time, Absence, Payroll and Core HCM.


• Support system testing, UAT, data validation and deployment activities.


• Identify and resolve complex functional issues throughout the implementation.


• Provide guidance on Workday best practices and recommend improvements to existing processes.


• Produce functional documentation and support knowledge transfer and user training where required.


• Work closely with project stakeholders to ensure deliverables are completed to a high standard and within agreed timelines.


• Support the transition into go-live and provide post-go-live support where required.

Key Experience

• Workday Time Tracking and Absence certifications.


• Strong hands‑on experience configuring Workday Time Tracking and Absence.


• Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end Workday implementations, ideally from design through to go-live.


• Strong understanding of Workday Time Tracking and Absence functionality and configuration.


• Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into Workday solutions.


• Experience supporting workshops, testing, UAT, data validation and deployment.


• Strong understanding of the integration between Time, Absence, Payroll and Core HCM.


• Experience working within complex or global Workday environments.


• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.


• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with wider project and Workday teams.


• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.

Desirable

• Experience working on large-scale or global Workday implementations.


• Experience integrating Workday Time & Absence with Payroll and other HR systems.


• Previous experience working with multiple countries, complex policies or varied workforce requirements.
