Yusen Logistics is seeking a WMS Specialist to ensure smooth operation of the warehouse management system, support users, and participate in projects to optimize warehouse processes. You will work with warehouses, operations, and IT to deliver reliable system performance and actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and supporting users.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and root-cause analysis.
• Experience with ticketing or incident management systems.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders, warehousing and IT teams.
• Fluency in English; Dutch knowledge is a plus.

• Participate in an on call rotation for out of hours support.

Role Overview

We are looking for a WMS Specialist who will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the WMS system, supporting users, analyzing and resolving system issues, and participating in projects related to the development and optimization of warehouse processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support to WMS system users.
• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve user requests and system issues.
• Collaborate with warehouses, operations, and IT teams to maintain and develop the system.
• Prepare reports, analyses, documentation, and dashboards that support business processes.
• Participate in projects related to the development, optimization, and integration of the WMS system with other IT solutions.
• Develop, update, and maintain system documentation and user manuals.
• Support the testing, implementation, and acceptance of new functionalities and system changes.

What You Will Bring To The Role

• Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Experience providing user support and working with ticketing or incident management systems.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, warehouse operations teams, and IT departments.
• Interest in emerging technologies and a proactive approach to supporting and enhancing logistics systems.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
• A proactive, results-oriented mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Preferred Skills And Experience

• Undertanding of SQL and experience creating and analyzing database queries.
• Understanding of warehouse operations, logistics processes, and supply chain management.
• Experience integrating WMS platforms with ERP, TMS, or other business applications.
• Experience testing new system functionalities, implementing changes, and supporting user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Familiarity with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Experience working with Manhattan SCALE.
• Knowledge of EDI is a plus
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and experience working in project environments.
