TRAFFIC International Europe (TIE) in Brussels offers a 6- to 8-month policy internship focused on EU wildlife trade and policy engagement. The role supports the Senior Policy Manager and cross-project activities, including research, messaging, and communications for policy initiatives.

The position provides hybrid working arrangements, monthly net remuneration of 1200€, and exposure to EU policy processes, stakeholder engagement and events within a dynamic, international team.

Qualifications

• University qualifications in public policy or related field.
• Strong writing and communication abilities with concise briefing skills.
• Interest in EU policy processes and biodiversity/trade issues.

Responsabilités

• Support policy monitoring, background research and briefing notes.
• Assist with outreach to EU institutions and stakeholders.
• Contribute to drafting messages, talking points and social media content.
• Support event planning and coordination for policy engagement.
• Assist with meetings, notes and follow-up coordination.
