Transport & Environment (T&E) invites applications for a climate intern to support its climate team in Brussels. The role focuses on policy research, EU-level analysis and campaign support to align transport policy with climate targets.

Based in Brussels with a hybrid work setting, the internship lasts one year from November 2026 and pays €1,800 gross per month under the Belgian Convention d’Immersion Professionnelle.

Qualifications

• Interest in how EU politics works and climate policy instruments.
• Strategic thinker capable of analyzing complex topics.
• Good interpersonal skills; able to work autonomously and collaboratively.
• Comfort with attending meetings with stakeholders and policymakers.

Responsabilités

• Provide policy research and analysis for the team.
• Attend meetings with stakeholders and policymakers.
• Analyze amendments and policy proposals to align with T&E positions.
• Monitor developments in the energy sector relevant to transport.
• Develop and implement campaigns to support policy goals.
• Support coalition-building with NGOs and think tanks.
• Draft concise briefings, blogs and other communications.
• Help organize events (online and in-person).
