Syngenia is seeking a site supervisor/consultant to oversee contractors and site teams, ensuring project schedules and quality are met. You will review drawings and specs, coordinate daily site operations, and address technical issues with a methodical engineering approach.

You will maintain safety and environmental compliance, manage site documentation, and communicate with stakeholders across the project. Dutch fluency and French proficiency are valued; English is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field; civil or mechanical engineering preferred.
• 2–4 years site experience or equivalent in construction/mechanical industries.
• Experience in construction site supervision and team coordination.
• Comfort with administrative follow-up of site activities.
• Strong communication skills in a structured organization.
• Willing to work night shifts/weekends when required; safety-focused and methodical.
• Fluent in Dutch; good French; English a plus.

• You organize and coordinate site operations to guarantee efficient execution and high-quality delivery of the works.
• You identify and resolve technical issues encountered on site by applying your civil or mechanical engineering expertise.
• You inform, motivate, and coordinate all stakeholders involved in construction activities.
• You ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and applicable site procedures and regulations.
• You prepare, maintain, and monitor site documentation, including reports, work logs, and as-built files.
• You verify, document, and validate the progress status of construction activities.

Profile

• You hold a Bachelor's degree in a technical field, preferably in civil or mechanical engineering.
• You have 2 to 4 years of site experience or equivalent technical knowledge in the construction or mechanical industry.
• You have experience in construction site supervision and team coordination.
• You are comfortable managing the administrative follow-up associated with site activities.
• You demonstrate strong communication skills and enjoy working within a structured organization.
• You are flexible, adaptable to site constraints, and willing to work night shifts and/or weekends when required.
• You place a strong emphasis on safety and work in a rigorous and methodical manner.
• You are fluent in Dutch and have a good command of French; knowledge of English and experience in the railway sector are considered assets.
