IILA INDUSTRIES is seeking an engineer with strong CAD skills and solid knowledge in thermodynamics, sheet metal design, material selection, and manufacturing methods. The role emphasizes GD&T, flow analysis and Design for Excellence principles across diverse projects.

You will lead cross-functional engineering efforts, develop layouts and drawings, and engage with customers to resolve complex mechanical issues while driving standardization and tooling improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience with CAD tools and mechanical design.
• Knowledge of thermodynamics and sheet metal design.
• Experience selecting materials for manufacturability.
• Familiarity with GD&T and flow analysis.
• Understanding of Design for Excellence principles.

Responsabilités

• Identify and troubleshoot complex mechanical problems with limited supervision.
• Lead or execute engineering projects and supplier development.
• Develop or modify drawings and specifications for complex scope.
• Communicate with customers on mechanical issues for projects.
• Develop tooling, fixtures and processes; standardize operations and act as technical expert.
• Generate product specifications and engineering test reports.
• Review engineering documentation and perform complex engineering analysis.
• Clearly communicate complex concepts across teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and troubleshoot a wide range of complex mechanical problems with limited to no supervision
• Lead or execute engineering projects, including the development of key suppliers
• Develop, design, or modify engineering layouts, schematics, or drawings/specifications of complex scope
• Communicate with internal and external customers regarding a wide range of complex mechanical issues for specific projects
• Implement concepts for a range of complex product issues and solutions
• Design, develop and implement custom mechanical tooling, fxturing and associated processes; enable the handling, assembly and/or disassembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies; establish standards across operational processes; serve as a technical expert on specialized projects or programs
• Generate product specifications
• Define, coordinate, perform and generate engineering test reports; specify and review engineering documentation;specify or perform complex engineering analysis
• Clearlycommunicate complex concepts and influence various perspectives
