Job summary

Nelen & Delbeke NV is seeking a Foreman for the weaving mill in Belgium. You will lead a small team, coordinate daily activities, and ensure efficient production while maintaining fabric quality.

You will coach colleagues, build team spirit, and ensure a safe, engaging workplace. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with willingness to work a two-shift system; Dutch is preferred and French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in textile production or weaving environments.
• Strong communicator and natural people manager.
• Well organized with hands-on problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of Dutch; French is a plus.

As foreman of the weaving mill, you're the person who keeps everything running smoothly. You coordinate and oversee the production process, keep an eye on efficiency, and safeguard the quality of the fabrics we weave - in close collaboration with the production manager.

You'll work in an alternating two-shift system: from Monday to Thursday an early shift from 5h to 13h. and a late shift from 13h to 21h on Friday an early shift from 5h to 11h. and a late shift from 11h to 17h.

What your day looks like

• You lead and motivate a small team of weavers
• You coordinate and supervise the daily activities in the weaving mill;
• You make sure the work runs efficiently and productively and step in where needed.
• You coach your colleagues, helping them develop and sharpen their skills.
• You create a safe and pleasant working environment where people enjoy their job.

Profile

• You have proven experience within a textile production environment.
• You're a strong communicator and a natural people manager.
• You're well organised and a hands-on problem solver.
• You're flexible, calm under pressure and results-driven.
• You know how to build and maintain a positive team spirit.
• You have a good knowledge of Dutch, French is a plus.
• You're willing to work in a two-shift system.
